Women's Degree College, Nizamabad, is a premier institution of higher education dedicated to empowering women and catering to their academic aspirations in North Telangana. The college was founded in 1965 under the support of the Women's Education Society with the vision of making higher education accessible to women, particularly those from rural and socially disadvantaged backgrounds.
It was one of the first women's degree colleges in the region and has played a pivotal role in enhancing women's literacy and socio-economic participation in the district. Located in Kanteshwar, Nizamabad, the college is situated on a scenic campus spanning over 9 acres and 24 guntas.
Affiliated with Telangana University, Dichpally, and recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Sections 2(f) and 12(b), the institution offers a wide range of undergraduate programs in Arts, Science, and Commerce.
